Personal Practices to Save Ecosystems

Presents individual actions that can ameliorate stresses on the planet.

Ocean Health   |    Greenhouse & Ozone-Depleting Gases

Biodiversity & Invasive Species    |    Land Conversion & Topsoil

Toxic Chemicals & Air Pollution    |    Fresh Water

Personal Practices to Save Ecosystems was prepared by the Center for Earth Leadership to present individual actions that can ameliorate the stresses to the planet: loss of biodiversity, loss of fresh water, global warming and ozone depletion, land conversion, loss of topsoil, ocean health, toxic chemicals, and air pollution.

The Center has used its knowledge to prioritize the practices, recognizing that most of us seek to take incremental steps on the journey to a sustainable future.

A companion piece, Ten Stresses on the Planet, was prepared to inform citizens on ecological degradation.
